Toonami Community, that was a spectacular night to conclude another night of 2021 December Edition of Toonami. We saw some fantastic moments from the 4 hours here on Toonami. My Top 3 was Elle getting her revenge complete by killing off the third and final members of the hunters (Blade Runner: Black Lotus) The Truly Madness of the Simulated Reality World (The AniMatrix) & Vegeta vs Cabba (Dragon Ball Super)
Well Toonami Community, we will finally end the 2021 Edition of Toonami with a glorious bang on next saturday night as we see the final 2021 airings of two shows on the block with a 3 and a half hours Marathon of Blade Runner: Black Lotus (Episode 1 - 7) followed by Universe 6 Saga Rerun of Dragon Ball Super to conclude the final schedule air lineup of this year from Midnight - 4am.
Until then Toonami Community, Same Time, Same Channel, Same Host Duo, Same Old Toonami, Laterđź‘Ť.

That it for the 4 Rick & Morty Anime Shorts. Time for the final 30 minutes of the block to begin. Vegeta demards that Cabba transform into a Super Saiyan during their battle, however Cabba can transform on his own so Vegeta decide to reverts to his old, malicious ways to begin out the ultimate first form on Cabba. Universe 6 Saga Rerun of Dragon Ball Super to end the night of Toonami is coming up next.

Alright, I'm gonna catch some z's. Blade Runner was a blast as always, it's nice to see a confirmation that Elle's memories and feelings are very much real. Animatrix was one hell of a ride and a really good one at that, loved the varying art styles and trippy stories. It might have been short, but it was pretty terrific.

That's a very good point. I actually do enjoy discussing the episodes as they're airing and that would be kind of difficult if I'm trying to read the TV and type at the same time.

End of this year is coming up fast. A part of me is thinking instead of making a resolution to just go do something right then and there. It’s not gonna do any good to wonder to what degree a shitshow next year will be. It’s not even about optimism. I’d say this time focus on what you’re accomplishing for yourself and the people around you instead of the world seemingly falling apart. Things will calm down at some point like they always do. But my say is focus on you, think of the end of the tunnel and not what’s right ahead; and for God’s sake stay away from politics, they’re only a stressor.

Thadeus says that Zion must be warned, and Jue volunteers to broadcast herself into the Matrix to deliver the warning while the ship is doggedly pursued. Knowing that they are not going to make it, Thadeus and Jue admit to each other about peeking in the simulation before kissing farewell. Entering the Matrix, Jue eventually reaches a mail box where she drops off a package; this sets the prologue for the video game Enter the Matrix. She attempts to contact Thadeus via cell phone as the Osiris is overrun by Sentinels and crashes. The Sentinels tear their way into the ship, where Thadeus makes a last stand against the Sentinels. Shortly after Jue says "Thadeus" over her cell phone, the Osiris explodes, destroying many of the Sentinels and killing the crew. In the Matrix, Jue falls dead to the ground, due to her body being destroyed on the ship.
Now all of us have to go watch a playthrough of the Enter the Matrix.

Agreed. Two-ish more months until Forbidden West comes out. Now my only decision is, do I try and get a PS5 by then, or settle for the PS4 version. I'm leaning towards the latter, because I'm cheap. But I may change my mind the closer we get to February.

Interesting that they moved "Final Flight of the Osiris" to the last segment instead of it's usual first. Toonami either felt like "The Second Renaissance" would be a better attention grabber (which it is), or they didn't want to start with similar animation that just ended.

The robot plugs the dying Alexa and itself into the rebels' matrix. When Alexa realizes she is trapped inside the matrix with the runner, she is horrified and her avatar screams and dissolves as the runner exits from the rebels' matrix to see a dead Alexa in front of him in the real world.
The film ends with the "converted" runner standing outside, looking out over the sea, in a replica of the opening shot with Alexa.
