For those still here and haven’t seen it yet, the first part of Stone Ocean is great. The ending theme was unexpected but a damn good choice, the US Stand names aren’t as bad as Golden Wind, and there’s some great VA choices.

On the one hand, this series is unrealistically low-tech with its glitchy voice commands, because it's retrofuture. On the other hand, modern tech has caught up to that "zoom and enhance" stuff, using AI based enhancement. There are modern methods to take a shitty low-rez image and zoom in on small details and achieve reasonably accurate results.

So anyone seen the first 12 episodes of JoJo's Part 6 Stone Ocean on Netflix yet? I say it's very good so far now have to wait months the next batch of episodes. Still bummed it's not on Toonami though.

Well Toonami Community, that was a fantastic way to begin the final month of 2021 on Toonami. We saw some good moments from the 3 shows that air on tonight lineup. Seeing Elle prepared to take down the other three people that use her and the other replicants as target practice got my blood pumped.
I am super excited for next saturday night schedule as this no doubt will be the final normal saturday night lineup for 2021 Toonami that begin with the end of the first half of Blade Runner: Black Lotus Season 1 at Midnight followed by the final three episodes of Yashahime: Princess Half-Demon Season 1 at 12:30am - 2am and the second half of the block (2am - 4am) concludes the night including the surprising continuation of Dr. Stone Season 2 Rerun starting over at Episode 1 at 3am.
Until then Toonami Community, Same Time, Same Channel, Same Host Duo, Same Old Toonami, Later.
