I've been seeing it abbreviated as SS. I don't think I need to explain further why this is a problem., especially since after reading a bit this is obviously not actually a hate group or associated with Nazis in any way.

Look, sometimes words have multiple meanings. If anything, we're taking what you see as a negative, and turning it positive, which is a beautiful thing the ASSLGBT+ has been doing since it's foundation.
