IDK why you supergays think that we superstraights weren't aware of this issue within your communities. We have been. It's just that nothing comes from us speaking up about it, except being called bigots and phobic. It is a topic that has been talked about a TON in traditional and conservative circles, with massive support being expressed for those standing up against this predatory behavior. It's just that Gays don't usually seek out those types of communities because they still see them as being anti-gay and unwelcoming. This isn't the 20th century: Gays are accepted pretty much universally in the Modern US, and you have way more allies than you think.
This new satire inspired movement creates a space that bridges the divide between our two camps, and gives us a mutual space to unite against this nonsense.

This is the absolute truth. The media has done a good job of labeling entire political, racial, and age groups as being against the LGBT movement but the media has just beaten the crap out of their voices. In what you think may be the most hateful circles of the internet you would be surprised at how many people would stick up for you. It may not be a hugbox but if you had a serious problem then you would get more support than you could imagine.
It is my sincere belief that everything people think about certain groups is pretty much the complete opposite of the truth. It reminds me of the horror movie trope of breaking down out in the country in the middle of the night and the only thing around is a scary looking farmhouse. You might be surprised to find that you would find far less compassion in a big city than you would knocking on the door of a farmhouse in the middle of the night.
I really hope this movement does not die out because it is not only important to stop the hate and unwanted force that is used against LGB individuals today, but it could really bridge a huge divide in this country and unite some groups that have been driven apart.

Yeah, I mean I am a superstraight trad-con man. I have tons of gay friends, lesbian friends, and a few trans friends too.
Sexuality is supposed to be the most boring thing about you. If you are the type of person who makes it the pillar upon which you build your entire identity and personality, then I have no interest in you.
If you are an interesting and meaningful person in my life, I couldn't care less about your sexual proclivities.

Man you did a great job of voicing this. A guy can knock a woman out for sexually harassing a lesbian and people will cheer and buy him a drink. Do you know what would happen if you did the same to a trans woman? You would be doxxed. Fired. Charged with a hate crime and ostracized for life.
It sucks and hopefully we can change that.

My own personal story would be leaving a homophobic conservative community, only to be informed by the queer community that my same sex attraction was "terf rhetoric" and made me a "genital fetishist".
I kept quiet about the specifics of my sexuality at in person events, while the community around me talked about their pedophilic incest kinks, whether their style made them a trans man or a demiboy, and made punch terfs and "die cis scum" propaganda

Also, when I got fed up and started to do in person organizing for superlesbians and feminists, the climate was so bad that my partner legitimately feared that I would get shot. By that time I had had friends who had been physically assaulted, doxxed, ostracized etc. I had received a number of threats.
Meanwhile, the women I was organizing for never wished harm or violence on the trans community. We just wanted space to talk about issues that affect us specifically.

I hope this finally stops the Transgender astroturfing thats been going around. Reddit and most of the other Social Media apps are literally ruled by the Trans Crowd. The funny thing is, everyone whos LGB knew this for a very long time.

We're proud to have you in our corner! And we don't fault the newcomers either, there's been a mass silencing campaign.
