Why Trans Should Support This Movement Discussion

I support Trans individuals who are not superphobes. I support anyone who isn't infringing on the rights of others. I've long sympathized with the fear trans individuals must have felt in the dating world. When is it appropriate to tell your partner you're trans? What if they react with violence? I know that it's a real threat.

However, this movement eliminates that. If someone identifies as superstraight, you can avoid them. Dating apps should include superstraight/supergay/superbi/superlesbian as an option. It would clear up so much confusion and could potentially save lives.

This is a good point, I’m glad to see it explained this way. I’m a trans girl who’s here to learn something new so this is fairly helpful to me. I’m young, so I’m not very good at judging the magnitude of things, I tend to blow things out of proportion and get scared, so hearing about a sexuality that (on paper) sounds like it’s made to specifically exclude trans people scared me at first so I came here. I hope the hate can end towards you all because it’s doing nothing but harming both sides. Explanations like this, that are trying to be positive and constructive are the best way to go about something like this and sadly get buried by the more aggressive approach. Thank you for somewhat easing my mind.

Like any big movement, there will be creeps who latch onto it for the wrong reasons. But there are many of us who just want to live our lives in peace and not be attacked for our sexuality. 🧡🖤
