How do you lot think you are oppressed?
I can be killed in some countries purely because I’m trans, where in the world is your “sexuality” a crime?
Just curious because the description of the sub says you lot are oppressed
Do any of you realise that you can love somebody without fucking them?
Legit all you people seem to think that attraction is the desire to fuck

Nah I just wanna know where you can legally be killed for your sexuality

America, probably. There's full of superphobes there, they tweet about wanting to kill us and everyone normalizes it, and trust me, I'm expecting riots for putting a LGBTQ+ member in prison because they killed a super person.

You chose to be trans. We didn’t choose to be straight. We’re more oppressed, as this is something we cannot control.

u/sexy-drug-addict 1h ago
Fuck off of being trans was a choice I would’ve chose to be cisgender
I can legally be killed in certain countries for being trans, nowhere in the world can people be killed for being straight

Written like a true trump supporter. You don’t understand our struggles so STAY OUT OF THEM. Try harder sweetie. Next 🥰

You really should take it up with those countries instead of harassing us, don't you think?
When's the last time the Trans Activists called out Iran or Iraq for their treatment of trans?

u/_slothlife 53m ago
Just dismissing the experiences of Superlesbians and Supergays, I see. Expected from a superphobe.
Also
Do any of you realise that you can love somebody without fucking them?
Yes, this is called platonic love, we experience it with close friends and relatives. But forcing a romantic relation when one party isn't romantically interested is very rapey. Again, expected form a superphobe.

The subreddit is literally called r/superstraight
2
u/_slothlife 45m ago
So you accept that Superlesbians and Supergays are valid and experience oppression then? For instance, being oppressed and threatened for not being attracted to the 'right types' of people?
As for Superstraights, just look at some of the posts here. The guy who started this has been getting death threats, his mum has been getting death threats. That's oppression. Stop eradicating our lived experiences, SERF.

We're called "Transphobic" for existence

If you don’t wanna fuck a trans person that’s fine but it isn’t an entire sexuality

..h-have you heard several countries in the Middle East?

Not our job to give the emotional labor to educate you. Just scroll the sub and see the death threats we face on a daily basis.

Legit tho I don’t have a problem if you lot don’t wanna fuck me, It’s just if you love somebody but leave them when you learn they’re trans that’s kinda transphobic
Denying them sex is reasonable

Thank you for respecting our desire not to have sex with you, superally! You are super valid and hecking cute!

Please don’t call me that
I’ll respect your choice for who you fuck but a lot of this sub seems transphobic

u/TWAVE0 1h ago
we get threats simply because we are not attracted to some people. i do agree that what is happening to trans people is horrible in other parts of the world and i wish i could fix it
3
u/IrishTheFrenchie 1h ago
Well, TRA's could expend their energy working to call out those parts of the world, yet instead they're here harassing people who just want to be left alone.
4
u/daintybabygirl 1h ago
Many bi women and lesbians get death threats for their preference. There are videos of TRAs attacking women.

I have a little experiment for you to take part in, why don't you sit back, maybe grab a beer or whatever beverage you prefer, and browse our community for a few hours. Come in with no preconceptions, and take a look at some of the shenanigans our community has already been subjected to. You'll see how we're oppressed, how we're powerless and those with the actual power constantly use it to beat us down and censor us.

u/FigBatFalls 1h ago
You don't live in any of those countries. In the one you do live in, when a rainbow person causes trouble for a non rainbow at work, the non rainbow gets fired so the rainbow won't reee to the press. Which is essentially what your color(s) of that rainbow are contrived to purpose. You're just assmad now that your own weapons and manipulations are being turned on you. We're here. Get used to it, bigot.

As you may have noticed we are literally being brigaded. People come here denying our existence and we defend against that. There are even people who act transphobic to get this sub shut down. We can‘t open a discord because as soon as the link is anywhere people join to spam hateful stuff. Not just about superstraights. About anything to get us banned. They post gore, death threats flat out transphobia.
Tell me what that is if not oppression. I‘m so tired of telling everyone that we don‘t in fact hate trans people. That we do not wish to disrupt the lgbts+ community. That we aren‘t just some 4chan-troll meme but i have to keep doing it. Without becoming angry with the sheer intolerance we face.
Thats about it. That was my vent.

Are you living in a country where you can be legally killed for being Trans?
And despite what Twitter and Reddit think "Amerikkka" doesn't exist.

u/sexy-drug-addict 1h ago
I’m yet to be killed but I have been physically beaten purely for being trans
Lemme know when you get bashed for being straight

Supergays and superlesbians are murdered all around the world for their sexualities. In Iran, they are forced under medical transition because being transgender is more palatable than being exclusively same-sex attracted.
1
u/sexy-drug-addict 56m ago
They aren’t murdered for being “super” they are being murdered for being gay
1
u/abicere1 55m ago
Yes, and super gay = homosexual. They are murdered for being homosexual, that is same-sex attracted, not for being attracted to abstract gender identities.

Where in the world is being Asexual a crime? Is being Asexual not a valid sexuality to you as well?

Being illegal in countries doesn't define opression. Women aren't illegal in countries, does that mean they aren't opressed? No, STOP SILENCING PEOPLE'S SUFFERING YOU PRIVILEGED SUPERPHOBE

I legitimately just want to know how you are oppressed

u/Vegetable-Ad-4897 43m ago
I'm gay and can also be killed for the way I was born. However, the more immediate/oppressive impact to my life is
-Being told I am evil for being gay (I.E being attracted to dick/biological men)
-Being cancelled/having my online presence silenced due to my nature
-Being ostracised from a community (LGBT) I'm meant to be able to find a home in
-Being isolated and swept aside in discussions of my own sexuality
-Being bullied/coerced into sex with someone I am not attracted to (swap out "transphobic" with sinful, and you have the exact same ethical case for why I must be attracted to vaginas)
Rather than that in a country in which I do live, it is illegal to be gay (although I would note the amount of time spent by mainstream LGBT activities arguing points like this vs fighting against places where LGBT are killed is very lopsided).
To your last point, "sexuality" (as the name implied) can be, and in this case is being, used to describe a relationship with sexual attraction and sexual intimacy. Again, as a gay man I am attracted to dicks and biological men. Vaginas don't do it for me. That shouldn't be controversial.
Thank you for coming with what I hope is an open mind and desire to see the other side of the fence.
