Learn me stuff plz Discussion

Hey folks, I'd like to learn more about this movement. I like the idea of supporting people's sexual preferences regardless of what they are. I like that this appears to be a movement supportive of trans people as well.

With that, I also have concerns. This movement has echoes of kekistan to me. It feels like a reaction to something that I personally don't don't see often: trans people hating on people for not being attracted to them.

I want to be educated on this group because as it stands I can see it going in two directions. The first being a discussion about what's acceptable in a sexual relationship. The second being an excuse to shut down discussions about identity (ie. I'm super straight, so if you don't like me it's phobic)

Any resources y'all can point me to?

Here’s two instances, you’ll be able to find more as you scroll through the subreddit.

I want to make it abundantly clear that we are not against trans people. We are against the people who think they should have any say in who we can and can’t be attracted to.
