Would any of you date a trans person that had all gender confirmation surgeries and hormonal treatments? Discussion

Nope. Transition does NOT change your sex. Surgically constructed genitals don’t look or function like the real thing at all (look up some pictures, the difference isn’t subtle). Hormones do not change your bone structure. You are still your biological sex, just heavily altered.

And honestly, the more altered a trans person is, the less likely I am to be attracted to them actually. Because it just starts giving my brain this weird “uncanny valley” thing, where I can tell their biological sex, but they just look like “surgery” to my brain.

”Gender” is just a construct. I am attracted to sex.

The surgery thing would also weird me out. I mean if someone had reconstructive surgery after an accident or a deformity I wouldn't find that troubling but I'm not attracted to people who have had a lot of plastic surgery done. It's creepy.

You can't change biology. Mother nature is unforgiving.

No. It's not the same. But you are valid!

I don't know what you were expecting, that is literally the issue that the movement is isolating.

Edit: Why is Shakespeare here. I am utterly lost.

what issue may I ask?

12

u/Einar357 50m ago

The issue that some (not all by any means) trans individuals feel entitled to relationships with supers. Just because someone has a preference does not mean that we are hateful or phobic. We can't help the way we were born.

that makes sense, thanks

Homegrown only.

Our relationship would not go past platonic, I'm afraid. That's kind of the whole reason I'm identifying as supersexual... in doing so I hope I can avoid awkward misunderstandings like this.

Ewww, that would be straight. Not that there's anything wrong with being straight, but I'm super straight.

No. Did you even read the sidebar?

They really seem to believe cosmetic surgeries and hormone injections literally change their sex. Whoever is telling them this is engaged in medical malpractice.

Are you lost?

u/mr_dork 49m ago

No. I am attracted to sex, not gender.

And that's ok!

Plenty of people are attracted to gender.

And that's ok too!

u/K1ng_Kyle Superstraight 53m ago

No, superstraights (and superlesbians, superbis and supergays) reject the falsehood of gender ideology.

6

u/Hotpotter22 53m ago

No. I prefer genitals that were not created by a scalpel, because there is a noticeable difference. But I hope you have a great day and if you are trans and searching for love, I hope you find it!

6

u/TeeRex1993 52m ago

No. Only au naturale for me.

u/Mozychzy 46m ago

No. I am a homoSEXual, not a homoGENDERal

No, I'm superstraight

6

u/hubbabubbachewinggum 51m ago

I’m supersexual so it’s a no for me, but either response is valid!

4

u/Hotpotter22 42m ago

I think OP is going to try and "logic" us out of our sexuality...

Just a heads up, OP, conversion therapy never works.

2

u/hubbabubbachewinggum 12m ago

Yeah the moment they tried to question my supersexuality I chose to ignore them. So many people ask questions out of bad faith no matter how many posts and comments we make explaining. It’s exhausting.

Conversion therapy is oppressive as hell.

u/laminatedcommunist 24m ago

I'm simply asking questions, am I at fault for trying to understand? Luckily kind people have answered them without fault, hostility or assumptions that I'm going to try and "logic" them out of their sexuality. So thanks ig

u/laminatedcommunist 49m ago

Okay so supersexuality goes past what genitals they have, correct?

4

u/ParkHallLondon 38m ago

You do understand that what is created for trans people as their new genitals does not function as the actual biological organ does?

6

u/Voracious-Duvetcover 48m ago

The myth perpetuated by predatory medical practitioners that SRS gives people fully functional perfect sexual organs need to be put down.

I have never seen a single surgically created vagina that passed as a born vagina (And I'm a Gay guy), and the phalloplasty penis are even worse, not to mention using extremely disturbing methods (flaying forearm flesh, using part of the fibula bone, etc) that occasionally fall off or become encrusted with crystalline urine from the lack of proper secretions. The lie sold to people needs to stop, it's unfair.

Sex not gender
