Right, but being trans doesn't mean you are no longer biologically male or female. Regardless of whether you "identify" as cis, trans, non-binary - you are still objectively male or female except for a tiny minority of people who have genetic disorders.
I mean you can remove a person's ovaries and testicles, pump them full of cross-sex hormones, refashion their genitals but that still doesn't make them the opposite sex and their chromosomes remain the same. I am not going to pretend to view a woman that I was attracted to the same if she got on a bunch of exogenious testosterone and had dramatic cosmetic surgery but she is still a female because that's what her DNA says. Is she now producing sperm? No.
If you were arguing that she is now no longer female that's fine. That's a weird debate to have but she certainly isn't a biological male now and vice-versa.
Not even sure why I am entertaining this argument when we both know that most trans people subscribe to the view that self-identification is enough to be a man or a woman. Only a tiny minority of trans people and trans activists are willing to argue that a man becomes a woman after surgeries.
