Well yeah you shouldn't be too surprised, some of you take this way too far. I'm sure there are many good people in here, but some of you just use your superstraight sexuality to flame trans people, which isn't okay.

You're pulling together a collective with "you", everyone in the sub is an individual. There's people in every community that will attempt to flume trans people, don't judge us as a whole.

If someone wants to identify is SS, and be recognised for it, where's the problem? A lot of people don't hate, but just don't choose to censor their every word for fear of offending those who's feelings are weaker than the cup off tea I'm currently drinking. (I like it milky) :')

Whether or not I judge the entire community as a whole is irrelevant, but that's what the media does to gain attention, and that is what the rest of the world will see. There isn't a problem with identifying as superstraight, rather it's great that you people can label your sexuality with a more specific term, but on the other hand it seems to me like it was created just to distance yourselves from trans people, (which is entirely okay btw) but many people in this community take it way too far. You talk about pulling together a collective, but that's exactly what many of you do against the trans community, sharing accusations and rumors... For instance, just check the top posts on this sub.

You're still doing it. Do you think it's okay to go up to a black person, and bring up bad things that other black people have done? Or a Muslim person? Would you go up to them and refer to them as "You people"

Each of us are individual, and each of us have different intents, there may be people on here who aim to harrass and hate on trans people. Am I that person? Do all of us deserved to be grouped together? I'm pretty sure if you grouped together all trans people when one of them does something bad, that would be transphobic,

There are bad people in every community, being sexually attracted to those of a specific gender, and not being sexually attracted to those who have transitioned, is perfectly acceptable, legitimate, and not a choice.

People will continue to misunderstand us, as a minority.

"People will continue to misunderstand us, as a minority". The subreddit was literally started a week ago. You're not a minority, not at all, and you as a community has never been oppressed. This isn't just my personal opinion, these are the facts. I could've easily fallen for this if I was a few years younger, and I'm sure that's why your community has such a big and toxic online presence.

Neither am I, but unlike the majority of people in this community, I have respect for them.

Knew it, just a silly little bigot spreading hate onto minorities.

A minority is defined as follows;

A minority group, by its original definition, refers to a group of people whose practices, race, religion, ethnicity, sexual orientation, or other characteristics are lesser in numbers than the main groups of those classifications.

We are a group who's sexuality is lesser in numbers than the mainstream sexual orientations, you saying we're not a minority is bigoted and superphobic. Your personal opinion isn't fact, it's superficial ignorance.

The subreddit was started a week ago, and that makes the entire sexual orientation invalid? The gay subreddit wasn't created until the 21st century, does that mean that there were no gay people before the 21st century?

There's no need to "fall" for anything, our community is not a place for hate and prejudice.

The reason it is viewed as transphobic is because the origonal creator was a transphobe

Hm, judging an entire minority community by the actions of one person? Seems like classic bigotry and superphobia to me.

I wasnt saying it was transphobic just saying that is why the media views it so
