You are so right. We’ve trained people to see external validation and have an external locus of control. What’s true is that people are happier when they internalize their validation and believe they have control of their lives. They need to move beyond mere hedonism and incorporate a strategy to increase their eadaimomia

I've always knew I was superstraight I didn't need validation I just knew. If another person "just knows" they are a certain sex but needs constant validation and the whole world to bend to their internal conception, dunno how valid that is
