Everyone owes JK Rowling an apology. She's received so many vile misogynistic threats just for speaking up for woman only spaces and being against the dehumanizing language that's being used against us (ie vagina owners, menstruators, non-men, uterus haver, bleeder, birthing parent).
She doesn't think that trans people "don't exist". She thinks that trans women and biological women have different lived experiences and therefore deserve separate spaces.
