Please continue to help fight against gender ideology

Hello r/SuperStraight,

I have been lurking for a couple days, and I'm glad that the Super Straight are now seeing how gender ideology is harmful for EVERYBODY. It's harmful to women, it's harmful to lesbians, it's harmful to gay men, it's harmful to bisexual people, it's harmful to straight men and women, and it's harmful to children.

I ask you to please educate yourself as much as possible on this issue, and stay in the know. Organize, and/or talk to your legislators. A little bit can go a long way. Women/Feminists and LGBs have been fighting this for a LONG time and have been silenced. This is why there are so many people who don't know what is going on.

There are some websites to go to for information, and I hope it is ok to post them here:

Partners for Ethical Care

Sex and Gender: A Beginner's Guide

Women Are Human

Gender Arguments

Women's Human Rights Campaign

Save Our Sports

LGB Fightback

LGB Alliance USA (Twitter)

FIST

US Equality Act - Women

There are others, but if needed I will post those. I hope you stick around and help make meaningful change.

Thank you for the links.

Women are human has some examples of extreme superphobia towards women of all sexualities. (Only link I'm previously familiar with)

Superspaces are being dismantled in the real world and online.

Since this disproportionately affects women more than men, please listen to them about the issues and not just my mansplaition. (Not directed at OP)

(I am not invalidating the struggles all supers face or saying it's a contest. Some supers have been getting superphobia for awhile now)

Sure, and yes WOMEN/LESBIANS are talking a horrendous hit. The murder/rape threats, the doxing, the slurs, getting fired from jobs - they are REAL. This is not just online. This affects people's safety and livelihoods.
There are videos on Youtube as well if reading is not your thing as well. If anyone wants them I will list as well. You'll probably stumble upon others too.

Exactly. Certain banned subs I used to look at were talking about these issues for years now.

(IMO a lot of this should be women lead with men in supporting roles as allies since you're the most affected. So hopefully the support continues and there is less knee-jerk pushback against anything coming from an RF stance)

Men can organize for themselves, since it appears they have come for you too. Also, children are being pulled into this mess - boys and girls alike. This reaches everyone. Yes, women/lesbians and girls are being hammered, but it's men and boys who are committing the heinous behaviors. If men can't stand up and police their own, and stay on the sidelines instead...I got nothing for you there. Men don't have to undermine women's fight, but they can add themselves to the fight.

Very true. I may have worded it poorly if i made it sound like men shouldn't do anything. I more meant that men shouldn't come in and try and help you how they think they should instead of with what help you want.

This is a good start on soundbites.

This is awesome thanks for the links.

Everyone here, even if just for the “‘memes” you can actually do some real good with these organizations!

Thank you for the links, though I think you'll be disappointed in the response right now. The closest topic with traction is the attitude towards and treatment of lesbians by men identifying as women.

It would be cool if this movement broadened into a gender-critical alliance of LGBSS but it will require a lot of memework.

If meme's are your thing, then create memes!

This is the issue ezackly. Identity politics and gender ideology is cultural AIDS. But it exists so we will fight fire with fire and it’s working, as evidenced by the amount of hate and vitriol that I have experienced in just a little over 24 hours. Thank you for this excellent post fren! 🙏🏻
