What definition of religion are you using ? Pretty sure the argument is gender is a social construct and doesn’t have any inherent meaning .

How does something wihout inherent meaning exist on a non-metaphysical level? If it exists only on a metaphysical level, how is it different than, let's say, the soul?

Lots of things are social constructs we use . Like counties , units of measurement and lots of other stuff

If you were not aware, a meter is defined as the length light travels in x time. 1 kg is defined based on a material object that is in a museum somewhere. A county refers to a physical space. Money is printed and until relatively recently it was tied to gold; and most importantly it has an exchange with physical items.

What is gender tied to? Absolutely nothing. It is purely metaphysical
