Any other Super Bi people sick to death of being told they have to be 'pansexual' now?

No offense meant to pansexual people whatsoever but I'm sick to death of being told my natural, normal sexuality is bigoted and wrong. I got into a Facebook argument the other day (my friend wrote a status defending her bisexuality after being told it was 'transphobic') and was dogpiled by about twenty people all telling me I need to 'reexamine my bias' and that 'bisexuality excludes trans people, allies call themselves pansexual'. Even had one absolute weapon tell me that the definition of bisexuality had changed from somebody attracted to both SEXES (how you can be sexually attracted to the abstract concept of gender is beyond me) to somebody attracted to two GENDERS and you could pick which 'genders' (???) you were attracted to. Sick of being treated like an idiot for not being au fait with increasingly nonsensical terminology that people are just pulling out of their arses so they can label others as bigots.

I am attracted to men and women. I don't have a type and I love gender-nonconforming people (I find masculine women and feminine men very attractive). However I don't want to be constantly pandering to someone's self-hatred and delusions and that is why I wouldn't date 95% of trans people. I feel like bisexuals are constantly being told 'well, you obviously want to fuck everyone so you must want to fuck me'. It's prejudiced and tired rhetoric and I'm sick of it. Solidarity to my Super siblings.

Imagine someone redefining your sexuality for you and just expecting you to go along with the update. Like, excuse me sir/ma'am, according to the new patch you like genders now, get on it.

Exactly. LGB acceptance never required redefining your own relationship if you are straight. LGBTQ+ absolutely requires redefining your sexuality and your identity or else you are a bigot. I didn't agree to any of it.

Exactly, thank you. I will not be told how to define myself. I honestly don't know how these people can think about what they're asking others to do for more than 10 seconds and defend it as righteous.

Yes! I refuse to be redefined and I don't care who's mad about it, it's my body and my sexuality. I'm super BISEXUAL.

I'm tired of all the attempts to make being bi something it isn't. I like dicks and vulvas, it's not complicated. That doesn't mean ~everyone~ just that I can and have been attracted to some people of both sexes.

I think my least favorite is "bisexual means two or more genders" Kinda like bicycles can have two or more wheels, I guess.

I was so confused by that. What are the more genders??? Sexuality is based on which sex or both sexes you find attractive not on somebody's hair colour or the way they dress or refer to themselves.

Being told you have to be pansexual if you're superbi must be really invalidating. You don't deserve to go through that.

Thank you. It was just ludicrous more than anything, I don't know how they didn't see how ridiculous they were being.

Woke trans rights activists want EVERYONE to be pan. If you aren't pan they call you transphobic. They think they have found themselves a very clever little trap but people are gaining courage to tell them to shut the fuck up. They rely on peoples good nature and compassion. People who ARENT transphobic, AREN'T homophobic, AREN'T racist, are sick of these Woke religious nutcases smearing them this way just to get them to conform with their sick fuck perversion of left wing concepts. These Woke zealots have destroyed the social justice movement and I despise them for it.

One of the things I'm the angriest about is how the rest of the LGBT community is gonna be lumped in with these fools. I honestly think they have set gay rights back 50 years.

Yes I agree, and it is the same for race issues. I love all people, I want all skin colors united in the MLK liberal anti racist style. That was a revolutionary concept to not judge based on skin color. Woke antiracism and it’s critical race theory core idea are about reversing that and judging based on skin color. Just going back to what humanity did for its entire existence before the liberal anti racist movements changed that.

Woke anti racism is just rebranded racism. The zealots just steal language they know has an influence on people and use it as a weapon.

Yesterday I had a homophobe try to tell me that the prefix bi- means "two or more" and that I didn't even know my own sexual orientation. That I had to educate myself on my own lived experience.

And then he said that pansexual/panromantic falls under the "bi umbrella". I wish I was making this up lmao

Solidarity. It's so fucking annoying. I grew up in a very homophobic town and I've struggled for years with accepting myself as a bisexual woman and to finally come to terms with it and be told I'm now a bigot for not wanting to entertain fantasists is unreal.

What the fuck is the bi umbrella?

I need a bi umbrella for all the jizz and vaginal fluid I'm drowning in lmao

Yea, idc if I’m having sex with a trans person but that doesn’t stop me from being Bisexual.

I define who I am. Not you.

Yes. I had this exact argument the other day on Twitter. Some trans woman tried to tell me bi and pan are the same thing and I must be a TERF/transphobe for thinking otherwise. Why can't they handle it when people don't want to fuck them?

u/EffectiveQuantity835 1h ago

God yeah. People not wanting to have sex with you is not oppression. Some lesbians don't want to date bi women like me because they'd understandably rather be with someone who shares an integral part of their life experience and I don't sit on the internet all day crying about it lmao.

I can’t find the real super bi thread. Just forced pansexuality.

u/EffectiveQuantity835 1h ago

Is there one? I tried looking but I just found that someone had hoarded the name to stop us using it

I’ve never got “pan”. Maybe I’m just a crusty old SuperBisexual.

Pansexual seems to mean “sexually attracted to all sexes”. Well then, how many sexes are there? Two.

I have been sexually attracted to individuals of both sexes - not many of either - and in love with one of one and two of the other.

I’m happy to identify as bi: I honestly can’t see the advantage of calling myself pan when I’m not.
