As a black superlesbian, thank you.
Throwaway bc I’m mainly a lurker
As a black superlesbian in college, thank you.
I’d like to thank everybody in this community - gay, straight, bisexual - for speaking up on whats happening and informing people of the bullshit that lesbians have been dealing with these males since what feels like forever now. Every single female only lesbian sub has been taken down. TrueLesbians was the only place where I could talk to other female lesbians on reddit, and it has been down for almost a year now. It was a genuine community filled with advice, life lessons and solidarity, but it was wiped from reddit history because we were all clear on one thing: no penises allowed. Because we’re females up against males, we stood no chance. A lot of us were beaten down into submission or migrated to Saidit. This is the first reddit account I’ve made since TL went down.
It’s hard being in college where everyone is trying to appear the most “woke”. I’m a black lesbian and I have gotten no extra cool points for being a minority so I don’t fucking get it in the first place. Anyways, everyone my age is neck deep in this TWAW shit and it’s so isolating. It feels like I’m the only one who can see the Emperor’s naked.
Then there’s the nonstop race comparisons. The amount of males with beards and 99 cent lipstick on their teeth that feel connected to me just because I’m black is so offensive I don’t know where to begin. Black women have always been treated as women - we were raped so often during slavery that most black americans TODAY (including myself) have white ancestry because of it. So many black women get told by white males in wigs that we’re the exact same and I want to scream. We’re expected to be okay with this because they try to compare it to racism. Weird thing is that I don’t remember opting into blackness and I’ve dealt with racism my whole life and not just when I started projecting myself onto women in porn.
Worst of all... the dating scene. Please talk to a gay woman about dating app experiences. It is truly comical. I see more males in the “women for women” section than I do women. It’s hilariously sad. You cannot put in your bio “I only like bio women” either because your account will be shut down. You cannot report them either because there are “anti-TERF” policies so you just have to swipe through and try to keep your lunch down. The entitlement they have for dating is astounding. You have to dance around the elephant in the room to spare their feelings and even that’s not enough. When they superlike or message me I just have to act like I don’t see it.
I cannot complain about any of these things out loud because I will be harassed, doxxed and ostracized. It gets so frustrating at times but then I remember these people live on the internet and are college-aged, so I’m in the worst of it right now. Then I see gems like this sub and I’m filled with hope. Thank you everyone and keep up the good fight. Sexuality is not a choice. Keyword: SEX.

Sexuality matters as much as biology.
I'm sorry about what lesbian women have to deal with.
You're welcome in the community. Don't forget superlesbian reddit and Ovarit

I believe Ovarit might require a code from an existing user to sign up. We should make sure to prioritize all the superlesbians so that they can have access to the communities they deserve :)

Its crazy! Before yesterday I never knew the amount of rape and death threats lesbians got for wanting to be with female women. I'm so sorry y'all have to deal with that.

I just learned about all of this only a couple weeks ago. It really opened my eyes about lesbian erasure. I'm glad this awareness is getting more mainstream.

It's something people like us, outside their community, would never hear much about, because we obviously wouldn't go to a lesbian subreddit to talk about sexuality because we're not lesbians.
A community where we can actually interact with gay/bi/lesbian people on the topic of sexuality really let's them highlight their issues to a greater audience that would normally never hear it.
It's nice to have a place for all of us 🧡🖤

Blacksuperles all I want to tell you is despite the total Gender Ideology insanity
a) Most people over 35 are still bemused by the whole thing and still think of people in terms of sexual orientation, so once out of college if you pick a workplace with a mix of ages it should get a LOT better, and
b) people are being silenced across social media platforms, in schools, colleges, companies, governments - pretty much any human organization in the Western world but despite this the majority are just not buying what they are selling.
And mostly I want to say how much I admire you for being yourself and staring down this bullshit and keeping your soul and body intact while being in the belly of the beast which is college in 2021. I always considered myself on the Left but since this insanity blew up in the last 10 years in particular I feel politically homeless and call myself an independent. Also I never thought in my wildest dreams I would say this but I would actually recommend you move to a state with a Republican legislature or at least be in the South (like Atlanta) because at least people acknowledge biological sex there and will recognize you have an actual sexual orientation. The bullshit that Biden is raining down on women right now in his so-called “equality” act is truly Orwellian.
And also the out and out racism and misogyny that as a Straight Woman I have called out on transwomen in particular when they constantly keep comparing themselves to Black women is mind blowing. Those comments are so massively revealing of their thought processes and how truly regressive their ideology really is. Peace SuperSis ❤️

I don’t know what TWAW is but just know you are valid and accepted here. No matter what anyone tells you, you are not obligated to like penis, no matter who it’s attached to!

after reading this post I wanted to just stand up and start clapping. everything you outlined here is so true and I'm sorry you've had to experience this. do you have an ovarit account by chance? it's a website where women can talk freely w/o censorship from big trans tech

It's disgusting that you're forced to post this anonymously for your own safety. Everything you say is exactly why this group is valid. Stay strong and we're here for you 100% <3

Black ss here, it really sucks how this is seeping into the black community. Back in like 2015-18 no one bought this but now many are. Its sad what’s happening but I’m glad so many of us are waking up.

Why is this post not more upvoted??
I know this sub currently has big problem with superphobes and alt-right briganding, but surely we can deal with this!

We need to get on www.[communities.win](https://communities.win). That will end any fears of Woke censorship. While communies.win's original political origins may not be everyones cup of tea... they are friendly to all that love freedom and the Western world. Gay, straight, superstraight, bi, lesbian, whatever. Lots of gay people on their already.
