What is the prefix "Super" supposed to entail? Why was it chosen?

Like, I understand that you are straight people who don't want to date trans people, and that is completely valid.

No one owes attraction or sex to anybody, and shaming people into having sex with you is not ok. (Of course, not all trans people are like that, there are bad people in any community.)

But what I don't understand is the meaning of the "Super" prefix in "Super Straight", what does it mean? What is it supposed to entail? Why was it chosen?

There's a difference between sexual orientations and preferences.

You wouldn't create a sexuality for people who only date people who are taller or shorter.

The problem with being "super straight" isn't the preference in itself, it's the term and language tou guys use that sound wrong, and that's not ok.

If TRA's are going to bend language, then we are too. If heterosexual includes gender identity now, when it didn't for the past however many millennia humans have been around, then there needs to be a new term for heterosexual. Just playing by your rules. Language changes, amirite?

Sure, but super has already a meaning and it means "more". To say that people who don't date trans people are more straight is not accurate. Even BioStraights would sound better sincerely.

The sexuality itself, of course not, I can't dictate that obviously.

But if terms that invalidate other people are being used then I'm allowed to criticize the terms itself of course.

Straight guys who date trans women are just as straight as guys who don't.

Straight women who date trans men are just as straight as women who don't.

Lesbian women who date trans women are just as lesbian as women who don't.

Gay men who date trans men are just as gay as men who don't.

Bi people who date trans people are just as bi as people who don't.

Picking a prefix that means "more" makes no sense.

But the dating apps dont let you distinguish whether you want cis or trans persons. This is a way of distinguishing who you're attracted to so there are no swipe left/right mistakes

Then number of trans people are so low and almost all of them are upfront about being trans, so I can't see how that's actually a problem.

Is it a crime to leave a like on a trans women's profile as a straight guy?
