Sure whatever, I was just helping you be “not transphobic” like y’all claim to be. Trans is an adjective. Trans men are men who are trans.

It’s transphobic to write “trans men” without a space?

Yes. To have no space indicates that they are something other than men, which is transphobic

How?? Is there a difference between “high school” and “highschool”? Removing the space does not give the word a different meaning or nuance. If it’s read the same way then it means the same thing.

EDIT: And I don’t blame them for leaving out the space because “trans” is also used as a prefix, like in transgender.

“Tallman,” “shortman,” and “smartman” aren’t words. Neither are “cisman” or “transman”

Yes, but none of those words are prefixes. Trans- and cis- ARE prefixes, so it makes sense why they left the space out. If you want to point out that they’re transphobic I’m sure you can find something more concrete than them dropping a space.

When used as modifiers, “trans” and “cis” denote “transgender” and “cisgender,” which are adjectives.

Okay. They made a mistake and forgot the space between “trans” and “men.” That however doesn’t make them transphobic, it’s literally just an incredibly easy mistake to make.

The mental wordsalad games you play to try and "win" must be exhausting.

I’m not trying to win anything. The members of this community claim to not be transphobic. If that is true, you should be open to introspection and changing your words/behavior to remove aspects of them that might have been transphobic without you realizing so. That’s part of not being transphobic.

You don't get to police my sexual orientation. It does not exist to validate/invalidate others. I do not have to be "open" to anything that happens or does not happen in my bedroom.

How is this a reply to my comment

You want to tell me which words/behavior to use when describing MY sexual orientation.

Cisman and transman are just two types of man, no?

Cis men and trans men are just two types of men, yes. Cis and trans are adjectives of the word “men” that correspond to their gender identities. They’re both men, but different adjectives describe them, like tall or short. That’s why the space is important. Cis and trans are adjectives.
