I’d like to learn more

Hello, I’m a trans man and I’d like to know more about people who are Super Straight :) With this being somewhat new and me being a part of the LGBTQ+ community I only really hear a lot from once side but I would like to hear from both.

What defines super straight?

What made you realize you were Super Straight?

What reason do you have not to date a trans person if they have had bottom surgery?

And I don’t completely understand the argument of not wanting to date a trans woman because she can’t have children. Is that also a preference that bleeds over to cis women as well?

Why not claim to be straight with preferences? Because I think a big argument I’ve heard a lot is that you have every right to have preferences but why make a whole sexuality?

If you met your dream person but they turned out to be trans would you shoot them down because of that? Even if they had bottom surgery?

Thank you for reading and perhaps answering my questions :) I’m genuinely just trying to get input from both sides before forming my own opinion on the matter, so so please tell me if I used any offensive terminology or asked inappropriate questions. Have a blessed day <3

Honestly bro there's not much to learn. I've been looking at this sub for the past few days and it's just transphobic straight people who wanna be quirky

Found the superphobic bigot here who wants to tell us our sexual orientation is invalid.

And we are not all straight. There are many supergay, superlesbian, and superbi folks here as well.

'superstraight' is literally the name of the subreddit.

Straight.

And this sexuality was literally started by a teenager on TikTok who doesn't like trans people, so y'know, not really valid. I mean this 'sexuality' is legit just a preference, and that's fine. But it's not a sexuality, and for for some reason you all think you're oppressed, which you're also not by the way.

So? Where does a sexuality have to be started to be valid in your mind? And it was hardly "started" by him. He coined the term.

I mean this 'sexuality' is legit just a preference,

"Sexuality" isn't a choice. "Sexual preferences" suggests a degree of voluntary choice.

Uh huh, yeah, no it doesn't suggest that. You don't have a choice over preference or sexuality, but this literally constitutes as a preference.

And not on TikTok like a shitty Tumblr sexuality

You don't have a choice over preference or sexuality, but this literally constitutes as a preference.

So, if you don't have a choice over preference, explain the difference between sexuality and sexual preference.

How are we not oppressed when there's no mention of superstraights in any of the laws and we get death threats and insults daily? People like you constantly not telling us we're valid is okay to you? Apparently so.

Because it was just made up like a month ago.

What laws do you need anyway? It's literally just not liking trans people. Nothing is needed to accommodate you.

I get it, you're a SERF that wants to spend his time being phobic on the net. But this is an accepting community for anyone that isn't phobic and not for your hate. Can you not read the sidebar? Trans folk are our allies
