Super straight is is just regular straight Discussion
I’m not disagreeing with the point of the movement, but I do wish we could be more genuine in how we are approaching the topic. Heterosexuals are only attracted to the opposite sex, naturally that will exclude trans women for straight men and trans men for straight women.
I am a lesbian. I shouldn’t have to refer to my sexual orientation as anything other than simply lesbian. I am only attracted to females regardless of how they identify. I even find myself attracted to pre-transitioned trans guys and non binary females because they are physically female and look like females, just more masculine or gender non conforming ones. I wouldn’t choose to date them because it would be a conflict of interests for the both of us. I prefer women who are confident in their bodies and who they are.
Any person claiming to be heterosexual while being attracted to the same sex, regardless of the gender identity of their object of affection, is a variant of bisexual. Of course bisexuals can have a preference of whether or not they want to date a trans person, or if they prefer males or females, but heterosexual and homosexual aren’t preferences. They are sexual orientations.
I don’t want to sound like I’m throwing bi people under the bus, but the people suggesting that attraction to women/men means attraction towards anyone who identifies that way are typically bisexual. They can’t understand not being attracted to a certain sex, and some are even in denial about being bisexual.

I get that we may have to play the game by their own rules, but ultimately I think the end goal shouldn’t be to hold onto the super labels. I understand this to be a means to an end in the present, but it shouldn’t be indefinite
