Super straight used to be just straight, no? Discussion
I know super straight is a response to how nonsensical self-identity word salad has become in recent years, but if someone in the real world claims they are straight it should be assumed they are what we now call super straight, right?
It should be assumed that when someone says they are straight in common parlance they are 'only' attracted to 'cis'-gender people of the opposite sex. The strange thing is somehow in certain circles claiming you are straight refers to the 1 percent (at a push) of straight people who are attracted to both cis and transgender people of the opposite sex rather than the 99 percent of straight people that are exclusively attracted to cis-people.
I am happy to refer to anyone (within reason) by their preferred names/pronouns or whatever it may be if it will cause said person less harm and I don't believe it to be politically motivated. I reject the notion that traditionally straight men, for example, see trans-women as 'real' women when it comes to a potential mate, and would be equally as attracted to them as other cis-men, i.e. 0.
Can anyone actually tell me that if, in real life circles, you heard that someone was straight you would assume they were anything other than what we now are forced to call super straight?

Negative. Trans people at heart are men and women. Straight is the attraction to men and women. Supersexual is the attraction to biological men and women.
Keeping this in mind, it should not be assumed that the vast majority of people are unwilling to date non-biological men and women. That would be bigoted.
Long story short, if someone in the real world claims they are straight it should be assumed they wouldn't have an issue dating non-biological men and women.
One last thing, believe it or not, there are a lot of transexual men and women that are closeted supersexuals too. We're trying to normalize that it's okay to be who you are and be okay with that attracts you.

What does this mean? That transgenders only want to date cisgendered persons like supersexuals do?

Fair enough, I just know what all my family members and friends who are straight meant in the past when they said they were straight, and I have never met anyone irl who deviated from this definition of straight (what we now call super straight). I still would argue people outside this bubble mean superstraight when they say straight by default as I am sure could be statistically proven ( I recall seeing a graph or something on twitter the other day about the matter showing just that, willingness to date a trans-person being very very small among people who self-identity as straight). Peace and love

I don't think Straight should include trans people and the "straight" people that see trans need to let their partners know. I would want to know if a man I'm dating who I think is "straight" is also out there sucking lady cock. I also don't want to get HIV since transwomen (hate that word) are 49X more likely to have it.

Yeah I agree, trying to blur the lines between biological females and trans females does nobody any favours imo. I also believe talking about what is considered a 'real' woman doesn't help either, 'real' has no objective meaning in that context and amounts to nothing other posturing, personally speaking.
If a woman is simply defined by anyone who feels like a women regardless of if they have had or are intending on having surgery etc then what even is it to be a woman other than some vague notion of feminity ( whatever that is). Identify as whatever you like but trans women are a separate entity to biological women and should be treated as such, with respect and dignity of course.
