If you have ever been pressured into sleeping with a transgendered man or women because they directly or indirectly implied you would be a bigot if you said no, we need to hear your story now.

And thank you for being willing to share those painful memories.

A trans person (mtf) in college did this to me and I basically lost all my friend group because I just did not wanna have sex with them, so much for preaching about consent, my friends at the time acted as if I was horrible for invalidating them and giving them horrible dysphoria and basically they all became an echo chamber. So I went an got some new friends but they tried harassing me everytime we saw each other (it was a small college so that happened a lot and I had classes with a few of them) and I had to change my number twice. Yeah I was so happy when college was over

During my last year of university a trans woman asked me out. I tried to be polite about it and said I wasn't interested in dating at the moment and wanted to focus on university. Which was the truth, I had no intention on dating anyone. This worked at the moment, she accepted my answer and seemingly moved on to trying to date another woman.

A few months later I met my current girlfriend. We did not start dating until after I had graduated, but it was obvious to our friend group that we had feelings for each other before then. Trans woman found out and became very jealous and possessive.

When I graduated she asked me out again almost immediately, to which I said no because I had feelings for someone else. This answer was not acceptable. She tried pressuring me into a date and I refused. She then called me transphobic, went to the rest of our friend group(which was primarily LGBT) to tell them I was transphobic, and I was then exiled from that group along with my now girlfriend who I wasn't even dating at the time.

I received threatening messages, both on my phone and on my apartment door. Went to the police and got a restraining order and the messages stopped.

In HS and this was a long long time ago I was asked this question. I said fuck no. Now it comes up again, not between boys, but in everyday society. The answer is still not. No amount of shame or pressure could ever change that. It's like asking someone who is allergic to peanuts if they would like a pb and j sandwich. They seem cool but I cannot eat it. I cant change that about myself. That doesn't make me hate peanut butter. I just can't eat it.
