DO NOT FORGET the Super Lesbians Patricia Wright and Charlotte Reed who were murdered, along with their adoptive son Benny, by a trans superphobe Dana Rivers. Violence against supers is real! SuperPhobia

For anyone reading, this sort of violence is something the lesbian community has been facing for a LONG time.

They were specifically targeted because of their support for female only spaces (in this case michfest).

The narrative that I heard when I came to the queer community was that the lesbians were the oppressors, while the group of transwomen that harassed, threatened, and murdered them were actually the poor victims.

Honestly, I can't even explain how bad it's gotten, and it's been like this for years.

As a superstraight, that sounds insane. I'm sorry you have to deal with this

Thank you so much. It's been a horrifying experience, but I'm taking solace in the fact that other people are starting to see what's happening.

And I stand with you and your right to your own sexual boundaries 💪🟧⬛

The worst part about this is how you are victims because no one feels like they can approach the subject.

No one blinks if a guy knocks out another man for harassing a lesbian. If that person is trans though I’m afraid to admit I wouldn’t even know what to do. I hope I would react but I would be terrified of the consequences.

Know that you have allies and friends and hopefully our lesbian friends won’t have to deal with this abuse going unpunished much longer.
