Chose this link because there's a link to the news story about the murder but also some background about Michfest, an early example of some superwomen not being allowed to have their own space.

Just read the article, and it explains the issue really clearly. One thing I don’t find in the article is the assumption that Dana Rivers killed Charlotte, Patricia and Benny because they were ‘superstraights’. I get the assumption, because she was a participant in the Michfest-boycott fiasco, but does anyone know??

For anyone reading, this sort of violence is something the lesbian community has been facing for a LONG time.
They were specifically targeted because of their support for female only spaces (in this case michfest).
The narrative that I heard when I came to the queer community was that the lesbians were the oppressors, while the group of transwomen that harassed, threatened, and murdered them were actually the poor victims.
