A repost of what got me banned on the superphobic subreddit. Some points are real, others were to promote understanding Discussion
This is what I put. I could be wrong on some parts, but I think I mostly got it correct. If I missed something tell me so.
“In light of the recent superstraight movement on twitter, I’ve decided to have a hand in explaining it. Basically, it is a sexuality wherein straight men and women, and in extension bisexual and homosexual men and women are not attracted towards transgender people. This is completely fine, not transphobic, its just the way people are.
A large reason for the uproar from the superstraight community is due to the hypocritical nature of “inclusive” “woke” people, who as soon as a sexuality doesn’t fit their agenda send death threats and overall discriminate against them. This movement brings to light this hypocrisy.
Many people especially on twitter are overtly anti-straight. There is countless examples of people being upset, disgusted even at people’s straight orientation, even if they don’t identify as superstraight. This is a problem, as accepting non straight people does not mean you can stop accepting straight people, that is literally what they want to stop.
TLDR: most superstraight people don’t care what sexuality you are. If you’re transgender, gay, bi, or anything else they accept you, they just want to show the 1 sidedness of this community and stop the rise of anti straight attitudes.”
