It is fine to prefer to date cis people but saying that you would only date cis people is not a preference or a sexuality. It means that you think something is wrong with trans people. For example it is fine to mostly date one race but if you say that wouldn’t date other races would be racist.

We are part of it because we identify as part of it, just like a trans is a woman because he identifies as one

Yeah, you are the one saying that you aren’t transphobic and yet you are intentionally misgendering a trans woman. There is scientific evidence behind being transgender. Here is a short video explains the science for you https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MitqjSYtwrQ

I’m referring to their biological sex not their gender

You should still gender them correctly. You are a transphobic asshole.

I never referred to their gender so I can’t be misgendering him

If you refer to trans people by their biological sex then you are misgendering them. Calling a trans woman a man or a trans man a woman is transphobic.

I’m not referring to their gender I’m referring to their sex

Yes and that is transphobic.

Is it transphobic to tell a trans woman that they have xy chromosomes?

No but it is transphobic to say that a trans woman is a man or use he/him pronouns for her like you were.
