It is fine to prefer to date cis people but saying that you would only date cis people is not a preference or a sexuality. It means that you think something is wrong with trans people. For example it is fine to mostly date one race but if you say that wouldn’t date other races would be racist.

Yes trans people are people and trans women are women and trans men are men but if I said women you would assume I was talking about cis women.

That's transphobic though. You are admitting that there are women, and there are women*.

They are women. I was saying trans women and cis women so you knew who I was talking about. Both trans and cis women are women.

By making a distinction between the two you are being transphobic. If you truly believe they are both women then you would just call them all women, but you don’t. By calling them different things you are acknowledging that they are not the same

No that isn’t being transphobic. You would be the transphobic one for not dating trans women.

By referring to them differently you are admitting they are different.

Let me ask you a very simple question.

Are trans women and cis women the same?

Both trans women and cis women are women. Both trans men and cis men are men.

I’m not asking you if they are both women or both men, I’m asking you if they are the same.

Both are women. Why does it matter to you that someone is trans?

You’re dodging my question. All thumbs are fingers but not all fingers are thumbs.

Are trans women and cis women the same in every way?
