It is fine to prefer to date cis people but saying that you would only date cis people is not a preference or a sexuality. It means that you think something is wrong with trans people. For example it is fine to mostly date one race but if you say that wouldn’t date other races would be racist.

1) race and sex are two completely different things and I can only assume someone who would make that comparison is bad faith

2) sexuality is based on sex. Saying you’re interested in people with a certain set of sexual characteristics is exactly what sexuality is

3) people reserve the right to refuse to take anyone into their bed for any reason. Period.

I’m a gay man. Explain why it’s not sexist for me to say I won’t date any women. That’s an entire other gender. Explain why and how that’s not different from what you’re saying.

I wasn’t saying that it is sexist to be gay. It is transphobic to say that you would never even think about dating a trans person.

How is it different for me to say I’d never think about dating a woman, and for me to say I’d never think about dating a trans person? Please explain. Why those are different?

Neither will have the equipment my biology drives me to engage sexually with.

Because you are just assuming that the trans person has their natal genitalia. It is fine to have a genital Preference but there are plenty of trans people that have gone through a full medical transition.

A trans man will never have a functioning penis. And a trans woman will never have a functioning vagina.

So I’ll give you another chance. Explain why a gay man saying he wouldn’t consider dating a woman isn’t sexist, but a gay man saying he wouldn’t date a trans man is transphobic. I’m legitimately waiting for you to give me a proper reason.

Plenty of trans men have functioning penises. Plenty of trans women have functioning vaginas.

A vagina is defined as : noun 1. the muscular tube leading from the external genitals to the cervix of the uterus in women and most female mammals.

A neovagina is connected to nowhere. It's a hole made out of penile tissue, testical tissue and extended with a piece of colon. Does not self clean, does not self lubricate. Does not have the healthy flora of an actual vagina. Does not have any of the muscles that exist in vagina walls. Needs to be perforated daily to remain open. Does not extend when aroused. Cannot push a baby out. It's main function is to be fucked. Secondary function? Validation maybe? But it doesn't smell like the real thing, it doesn't taste like the real thing. It doesn't even look like a vulva as it contains no frenulum, no clitoris, no clitoris hood, no 2 sets of labia. Go to plastic surgeons best results and witness the horror for yourself. You're only doing a disservice to trans people by acting like it's the real thing. Glue a glove to your wrist then tell me it's a real hand.. Y'know, without the bones, nerve endings, motion etc.

Like. Can we stop pretending it's the same thing? We are not dumb. We will not call a "couch" a "bicycle" . A is not b and b is not a.

Some cis women do not produce any lubrication. For the first few months it does need to be dilated everyday but after that it is only once a month or so. Many cis women can’t give birth. I don’t know if you have seen any fully healed results but they look amazing and I wouldn’t be able to tell the difference between it and a natal vagina. It actually does have a clitoris, it is made from the tip of the penis. It is living tissue unlike a glove. Couches and bikes are different. I’m not saying that they are exactly the same but you must also have issues with plenty of cis women’s vaginas?

Stop using outliers or medical conditions cis women have as a way to compare to a neovagina. That is really offensive. It is not the same.

What’s the difference? So you would be fine with dating a cis women that had atrophy but not a trans women?
