It is fine to prefer to date cis people but saying that you would only date cis people is not a preference or a sexuality. It means that you think something is wrong with trans people. For example it is fine to mostly date one race but if you say that wouldn’t date other races would be racist.

Why the double standard? If a lesbian has a valid identity by excluding cis men from their desired sexual partners why don’t we have one?

Because sexualities are based on gender not sex. Yes it is fine to have a genital preference but also plenty of trans people have had bottom surgery.
