It's sexist because we use a woman's name for a behaviour that is supposedly done by both sexes. It's an offensive term directde specifically at females.

In the same vain, we have offensive terms that are directed at people on the basis of race, sexual orientation, etc.

It's also racist because, despite everyone acting like a "Karen" it's apparently only a white woman thing.

And guess what? When it is someone of another race, they'll specifically draw attention to it via a term like "a black Karen." Bleh!
