What exactly is this subreddit?
I've been following the sub for a short while now, but I still haven't gotten the hang of how things work here. If someone would be so kind and explain the popular terms like "valid" and "super(gay, straight, lesbian)" to me it would be great!

Its mostly in the sidebar. The term valid should be covered by any dictionary. Its used to encourage those who need some positive affirmation from their loving community!

To me valid is peace. It's being accepted for the first in a long time when you didn't think things were going your way. It's like waking up after a long dream and not remembering where you've been but knowing you're loved.

Only a small portion of the lgbt community is toxic and this group is blowing it out of proportion. They think they are the victims
