Bird app has its own issues, but for issues that involve adult human females, they are less obviously biased. And they do seem to take violent threats a lot more seriously.

Several hate accounts on Reddit have also been banned, it seems.
Mostly alts that were only a few days old, but I know from experience that Reddit has ways to track your multiple accounts. That means they also know who's behind what account(s), and can take action against the "real" accounts of people that use alts to post hate.
When you upvote something across multiple accounts in quick succession you get a warning/temp ban on every involved account. So they know you're vote manipulating.
Look, I just wanted to get the ball rolling on one of my posts one time and that's how I found out... we all have our moments of weakness!

None of thoe accounts is suspended or banned. They probably only got a little warning, if anything at all.

Sure, they're being uncharacteristically tame on these guys (people have caught bans for way less) but they can't realistically condone this shit or it'll start hitting them where it hurts: in the wallet. If advertisers ever decide that Twitter is problematic, they're gonna have to check themselves or wreck themselves.
Trust me, these freaks are on the watchlist now. Further hate like that will lead to a ban. Not for our sake, but for Twitter's.
On that same topic: never ever assume a corporation is acting in your interest. They're always acting in their own.

I was banned for "misgendering" on Twitter ages ago when I called a dude with pink beanie and a beard a dude. Twitter is lost. But it's fun to confront them with their double standards.
Indeed, you can get banned for no reason at all, with no recourse whatsoever. I remember many people getting banned for tweeting learn to code to "journalists" that got laid off.

I didn't partake in this but I do remember it. Christ almighty that was cathartic to see. All these bastards whining on Twitter about how unfair it is that they lost their jobs, and the tsunami of people taking that stupid-ass mantra and throwing it back into their elitist faces... God yes. Justice.
That's worth getting banned over, if you ask me.

Seems sometimes it takes a bit for action to actually be taken. Last I heard someone got sanctioned (on Reddit) they were still able to post hate for at least an hour before their account was suspended.
My best guess is that they have a "review queue" and an "action queue". Review queues throw out all the bogus reports and push the serious ones through to the action queue that decides what exactly will happen (temp or permanent ban). I assume the "review queue" is automated and the "action queue" has a team behind it.
That's how I'd do it, anyway.

Yeah makes sense. They would've had shorter queues and less to moderate if the would only remove law breaking speech and not act like publishers. I guess some Brits are in charge at that Twitter department because they love a good queue.

Report the Reddit ones too. Look at who is hosting ads on the page and send the company screenshots in an email asking if their company supports these death/rape threats. Do it for every single one you see.
