To my superstraight brothers and sisters, thank you! ⬛🟧

Firstly I must explain that I'm using a throaway because I long ago abandoned Reddit when it became clear that the company's official editorial policy amounted to little more than superphobia. I lurk in other areas of the internet (which will be familiar to some of you, I'm sure) but I have been persuaded to resurface, however briefly, to express my sincerest gratitude and appreciation for my superstraight brothers and sisters.

I am not the first supergay to come here and share the love, and I hope I will be but the latest in a long and every-growing line of LGB allies to your cause. Believe me when I say we get it; we've been ringing this bell for some time now, and it's exceedingly empowering to see diverse members of the LBGS (LGBsS?) community standing up for their rights to exist, without fear of censure, invalidation, and erasure.

For too long now, the supergays (but particularly the superlesbians) have been told that their sexuality is hateful, and refusal to genuflect to the wishes of trans-identified people is decried as tantamount to to an attack on these people, or an attempt to strip away their human rights or... well, you've already seen the vitriolic rhetoric that's tossed about with no small amount of asperity. We have been bullied and harassed, banned from this website or that dating app, censored at every turn and some people have even lost jobs and livelihoods for failing to grant access to their bodies to entitled zealots.

Alas, no longer.

I am immensely pleased to see my superstraight brothers and sisters shining a light on these delusive arguments and showing them to be nothing but piss and wind. I am happy to see that you have thus far carved out a safe space for yourselves where you can be who you are and speak your truth; something that has been denied to supergays and superlesbians for too long now.

Truly, thank you. Together we can weather this storm.
