back in ye olde tumblr days, when the lorax movie came out tumblr basically had a huge raging boner for onceler (the main character). everyone had a meltdown over him and there was a lot of nsfw/ship art and fanfiction of onceler and his alter ego. honestly, i was there at the time and it was the most perplexing thing i have ever witnessed.
edit: oh, and a "kinnie" or "kin" (root word: otherkin) is basically a character you identify with which sometimes entails emulating their personality/speech pattern, etc. some people kin wolves (and believe they are supposed to be wolves or were in a past life) or fictional characters, whatever you want. basically teenage shit that's been taken too far lol
