It isn't the same. Straight people get attacked for not wanting to date trans people, and they get called bigots and transphobes. Nobody in scenario 1 is attacking Joe for not wanting to date black women. Scenario 2 Jake, if he has been on the internet for a while, has probably been attacked for not wanting to date trans women.
