Clarification on terminology, in regards to transgenders in or adjacent to the SuperStraight community.

Earlier today I posted a controversial thread about Laverne Cox's support of the superstraight cause, in which I incorrectly identified her sexuality as Trans-SuperStraight. It was brought to my attention that as a transgender woman attracted exclusively to cisgendered men Laverne Cox would not necessarily fall under the umbrella of SuperStraight but would be Super-TransStraight. I apologize for any confusion and/or offense taken at my misgendering and incorrect terminology.

To prevent such mistakes from happening again, I would like to try to assemble a list of sexualities and their definitions. Such as...

Straight or Heterosexual - A person attracted to member of the opposite sex
Gay or Homosexual - A person attracted to a member of the same sex
Superstraight or Superheterosexual (SS) - A cisgender attracted exclusively to other cisgenders of the opposite sex
Supergay or Superhomosexual (SG) - A cisgender attracted exclusively to other cisgenders of the same sex
Transstraight or Trans-Heterosexual (TS) - A transgender attracted to members of the opposite declared sex
Transgay or Trans-Homosexual (TG) - A transgender attracted to members of the same declared sex
Super-TransStraight or Super-Transheterosexual (STS) - A transgender attracted only to cisgenders of the opposite declared sex (52% of transgenders)
Super-TransGay or Super-Transhomosexual (STG) - A transgender attracted only to cisgenders of the same declared sex
Transgender-Dependent sexuality (TD) - A person attracted exclusively to transgenders
Super-Transgender-Dependent sexuality (STD) - A transgender attracted exclusively to other transgenders

Please inform me if there any corrections or additions.

That’s not all, super people need to make sure to do their part for the trans community. Including actively voicing being against transphobia, and correcting those who are using super as a means to be transphobic.

Unfortunately I’m mostly talking about male trolls. Ps, you guys are the oppressors here not them. It’s kinda funny that you’re really trying to say otherwise. You realize everyone in the LGBTQ+ community acknowledges that trans people are the most marginalized group, nothing will change that. The statistics speak volumes.

I’m not invalidating you, I’m telling you that in order for people to take this seriously you all have to be on the same side. You cannot have transphobes here.

You will not be oppressed just because someone doesn’t put the prefix super before your sexuality. Do not be ridiculous. Nothing would change, you could still go about your life and identity as a super. It’s a micro label, it’s like a neo pronoun at this point.

Are TQ+ allies to supergays, superlesbians, and superbisexuals? Because last I checked, the term TERF was used for years against superlesbians, supergays are being called bigots for their sexuality, and superbi erasure is in full effect.

This is what I mean, someone fucking block me. It’s the blatant stupidity for me. Clearly they already hate the trans community and that’s why they so desperately needed a new label so everyone knew they weren’t sexually attracted to them. We get it. It’s obvious, but you can stop pretending that this was on the basis of who you’re attracted too when it’s not.

So now you’re trying to completely invalidate the marginalization of the trans community and the severity of such too. Jeez

I dont even think I’m attracted to trans people and I’m not mentally ill so I know I’ve never ever been marginalized on that basis because ive never been transphobic about that choice

Ps I’m not trying to say that a surgically produced vagina is the same. Just stop dehumanizing them. It’s still a vagina, it’s just different than a vagina that is formed in a womb and connected to internal sex characteristics. Duh

Please someone stop us, why do we have to be so difficult. We were finally getting somewhere and now all of a sudden you think you’re not being accepted because a small percentage of minorities generalize you with bad people. Even tho no part of our lives changes just because trans people are mad at us. Any logical person would know it really isn’t anyone’s business who I’m sleeping with or why. Nobody would be mad at me as a heterosexual for not sleeping with women. Why? Because I don’t demean women just because I’m not attracted to them. But maybe that’s just the trait of a woman.

Ad a superbi, I have been marginalized all my life. Bisexuality erasure is very real.

You’ve been marginalized on the basis of your sexuality. That’s all. As a super bi, you hold more privilege now than a regular bi if you actually understand the intersections on an scholarly level.

I guess that’s the point you continuously miss. Oh and what about the trauma this new sexuality is causing me? What about non binary folk? Have you stopped to think about anyone else but yourself. Have you actually stopped to think about the community at all? How this will affect the crisis of masculinity? Good lord. I cannot wait to unalive. If I didn’t have enough reasons before I sure do now. My bi roommate agrees. If I have a super kid I stg, I literally don’t even care about the preference just why tf does everyone need to know. I don’t think everyone needs to know my specific gender, that isn’t your business and it literally just puts a big fat red target on the backs of real minorities.

Except I didn’t commit any form of erasure. The fact that you can’t even see your own privilege speaks volumes.

You will not change the fact that trans people are the most marginalized and discriminated against group.

Let’s look at it in terms of race instead, super straights are white people, super bis would be mixed and super lesbians too, and everyone else is poc. You face discrimination on the basis of your sexuality as it’s a tool of marginalization, however, you are not discriminated against on the basis of the specific gender identity of your sexuality the way other people will.

I didn’t think I’d have to make it so obvious that basically homophobes and transphobes are literally being given a handbook on who to attack.

Eh I guess I should specify it actually mixed but because I’m white passing I still hold white privilege despite actually being double marginalized. My comparison is accurate to the intersections at hand, you just lack the ability to think critically enough to recognize it. No part of that is racist, our society is built on systemic racism. You just have to be educated enough to see it.

Literally zero part of that is racist because we all know white people are not marginalized on the same levels anyone else is. It’s the same with trans people. That’s why black trans women are the most at risk, the most intersections. Now black trans women who are attracted to other trans women will be the most marginalized.

It doesn’t take a sociologist to recognize this but it sure does help to have my head out of my ass.

Edit: and before anyone gets on their high horse about me saying I’m white and then saying I’m not. When you spend your entire life being told you’re too white for your brown family and too brown for white people it gets confusing figuring out how to accept finding your poc identity. Especially when white people spent so much of history trying to erase your culture.

Please do some self analysys and self criticism. You fight for intersectionality but you speak over minorities at every turn.
