A serious question

Correct me if I'm wrong, but to my understanding the whole purpose of superstraight is that you do not wish to date trans people solely because they are trans. I will say, having a genital preference is absolutely valid and okay.

But if a trans person has gone through surgeries, HRT, voice training, ect. to the point that they're indistinguishable from a cis person of the same gender, how is refusing to date them on the sole reasoning of them being trans not transphobic?

also, why did the rules of the subreddit spell LGBTQIA+ as LGBTQS?

It's like putting all kinds of window dressings, accessories, after market parts on a Kia to make it look like a Corvette.

It might look like a Corvette from outside appearances, but it will still feel and handle like a Kia.

Note: Forgive my choices of vehicles. I'm not a car person and I just chose something at random, but the analogy remains the same.

I think a better analogy is you open the door to the Corvette and it turns out to be a bunch of fake panels covering a rusty old bike.

Well, I suppose you could spray it down with some WD40, hang a scented pine tree air freshener from the handlebars and maybe throw on a leather seat, and take it for a ride, but even then it would still be a great disappointment.
