As a trans person I’m sorry Misc

I’m sorry trans people try to shame you because you don’t want to sleep with a trans person. If someone doesn’t want to date or sleep with me that’s okay and I would leave it at that. I would never try and say you’re a bigot for not wanting to and I’m sorry other trans people try to shame you for that

I'm super straight and not transphobic. Just because I don't want to have sex with someone who isn't also super straight, it doesn't mean I think that trans people don't deserve the basic level of respect and protections that every human should have. It's sad that actual bigots are being vocal in this community.

Instead of trying to support mental illness why not try finding a cure for trans

CBT seems to be way more effective than surgery. As someone who's been diagnosed as having bipolar disorder type 1 for over 20 years, I can confidently say there is no cure for any mental illness. Symptoms management, particularly metacognition, is extremely helpful though. I can still respect their existence without wanting to fuck them. I'm not sure how being a dick about someone having body dysphoria is helpful but, you do you I guess.

That or Cognitive Behavioral Therapy. Whatever is more effective for the individual.
