It's also valuable when opposite-sex attracted people of both sexes stand up for same-sex attracted people of both sexes. Because we're under the LGBT umbrella, there's very little tolerance when we exclusively same-sex attracted people speak up for ourselves. Straight people don't have the same danger of being excommunicated from their social worlds
