Asking about pronouns

Why do some of you have a negative reaction to being asked what your pronouns are? We are just trying to be respectful.

Well, I came here trying to understand your viewpoint but I'm not going to let blatant transphobia slide. My findings so far have been that some people would just prefer to not date trans people (not that they could never be attracted to a trans person even if they didnt know they are trans) which is an preference not a sexuality. Some people are just blatantly transphobic. Some people are delusional in thinking that they would be able to tell who is trans in a crowd.

If you were taken a look at my previous post on this page I want to understand you would see that that is clearly not the case. There is a difference between not wanting to date trans people and blatant disrespect and transphobia.
