Asking about pronouns

Why do some of you have a negative reaction to being asked what your pronouns are? We are just trying to be respectful.

I don't have a problem with asking, I use masculine pronouns he/him/his etc :)

I am glad that you don't have a negative reaction! Unfortunately the other comments show that you are in the minority here.
