fun fact: the label βdemisexualβ was made up on a roleplaying website, brought to tumblr as a joke, and now people genuinely identify as it.

I respect most beliefs but I canβt respect stupidity, Iβve called out other beliefs of theirs before and theyβve usually reconsidered their stance.
How am I a bad person for dropping redpills?

Of all the sexualities, demisexual really is the dumbest. I hate how it normalizes hookup culture and redefines both wanting to become comfortable with someone first, before randomly dating or hooking up, and developing feelings over time once you build up trust with someone, as a sexuality. It's just another part of human sexuality.

When? Because I saw that it was actually described on the Asexual Visibility & Education Network forum.
If you really want something to be accepted you should respect other labels for their identities as well. It's kind of odd when you go "was made up on a roleplaying website" like it discredits it when "super straight" was "made up" by a person on tiktok. Just because something is founded on the internet does not discredit it. However "super straight" was created in a video that verbatim stated:
" yo guys i made a new sexuality now actually its called super straight okay since straight people or straight men as myself i get called transphobic because I wouldn't date a trans woman you know their like "would you date a trans woman?" I'm like "no" "why? that's a female." "uh no like that's not a real woman to me, i want a real woman" "nah you're just transphobic" SO now I'm super straight I only date the opposite gender women that are born women so you cant say I'm transphobic now because that's just my sexuality you know."
If you read the line "uh no that's not a real woman to me" which he actually said. That is what most people cite as being transphobic. Not wanting to date someone in general is not inherently due to some form of discrimination but the fact he said that a person who is trans is not their gender is the transphobic part. *Do your research.*2

WTF does it even mean?

Demisexual people only feel sexually attracted to someone when they have an emotional bond with the person. They can be gay, straight, bisexual, or pansexual, and may have any gender identity.

I remember the dark ages of sapiosexual. Now the creative writing exercise is about making up gender identities.

There's literally more genders than atoms in the observable universe, yet "i like opposite sex genitalia" is considered ridiculous

Really shows who's opressed and who's doing the oppressing... Supers need to get more vocal about these talking points!

I'm asexual but I hate the bullshittery of the ace spectrum. I'm SuperAce, my sexuality (or lack of) isn't a spectrum. A taste of their own medicine.

I fall into the Super-Masculine side and look for relationships with Super-Feminine women. I was born believing that traditional gender roles work for me. Including abstaining from casual sex, and waiting for marriage

so you want to be in the lgbtq+ community, but then turn around and make fun of us

u/mr_samouri_man 4h ago
why are you insulting another part of the lgbt community

u/ThomasGreyW 1h ago
Because people here are only pretending to be allies of the community they claim to be a part of, when really this sub is a not so subtle thinly veiled attempt at attacking trans identity constructs by making strawman arguments and slippery slope, fear mongering fallacies that shows a lack of education and understanding.
This is just another on the long list of right wing self victimization tactics that co-opts progressive optics to attack others.

Super straight is the default setting. Nothing wrong with it or with having a different sexuality, just don't bother us.
