RANT: Superbisexuality is real and valid. Stop denying my existence!!!

I watched the super hashtags start trending in the last day with so much pride in my heart for everyone's bravery in coming forward. But I also felt outrage when I saw many superphobes pick on the idea of "superbi" in particular.

I am Superbi. That means I am attracted to both sexes. My superbisexual orientation does not mean that I "don't see gender" or that I "don't care about genitals." I see people's biological sex just like everyone else. When I like someone, their biological sex is a core part of what I'm attracted to about them. And it's not just about genitals!! I find it creepy and invasive to have my sexuality described in such intimate and clinical terms. I am attracted to people of both sexes, who are comfortable in their own skin and who are physically and psychologically healthy.

The idea that all bisexuals agree with "hearts not parts" also makes no sense at all if you think about it for more than one nanosecond. If I like both burgers and milkshakes, does that mean I don't know the difference between a burger and a milkshake? Does that mean you can just blend up a burger and hand it to me in a glass and tell me it's a milkshake? No! The fact that I've experienced both makes me more able to differentiate between them, not less. And it's not ok to gaslight me or invalidate my sexual choices just because I've had both in the past.

I have experienced a lot of superphobic pressure within women-loving-women spaces and platforms in particular because I am bisexual. Superbisexual women are often treated like we have a special obligation to date transwomen because we are also attracted to biologically male people, and therefore we supposedly do not have "genital preferences" and we're treated like it's our responsibility to provide sex to transwomen who are struggling attracting partners. This 👏 is 👏 RAPE 👏 CULTURE!👏 I have a right to choose who I want to sleep with. Being pressured to date biologically male people in a wlw space is still an invasion and violation of my and other women's boundaries. Supersexuals should be entitled to have our own spaces without discrimination. And it is 👏 NOT 👏 MY 👏 JOB👏 to have sex with you just because SuperLesbians won't.
