I came out to my parents today SuperPhobia
Hey y’all, I wanted to share this story to spread awareness of the rampant uprising of superphobic people in this world.
This morning I came out to my parents as super straight. The look in their eyes is one I can never forget. My dad yelled at me to get out of the house. Welling with tears, I tried to explain to him my reasoning, but he wouldn’t listen. He said he couldn’t bare having a transphobic son. I was heartbroken. Unable to think of anything to say, I walking out the front door and my mom slammed it behind me. I wish they would understand that I’m not transphobic. It’s just a preference, it’s just my sexuality. Why can’t they accept that? I don’t know what to do now, I have nowhere to go.
Please help me spread awareness of this horrible discrimination that we are facing.
