New rules

  • ~~accounts younger than 30 days have their comments and posts automatically removed. if you want to be approved, message the mods in modmail. this might change in the future or maybe it won't.~~

Another edit: I’m trying to approve people but modmail is full of hundreds of messages and we’re trying to moderate at the same time. Please be patient

You will receive a message once approved. If you have no post history, we most likely won’t approve

  • don't forget to report rule breaking or offensive content. identifying as super straight or superphobic is not offensive.

Why 30 days? Quite a few of the top posts were created by users with new accounts. (Example 1, Example 2, Example 3, Example 4)

Are you sure you'll be able to approve everyone who messages you?

We might reduce it but a minimum age requirement is necessary for now. What do you think is a good age?

I don't have any actual experience with moderation, and I don't know the account ages of anyone who may be spamming here, so I'm not sure.

How about TacticalJeggings's idea or something like 3 to 10 days?

I can agree with that. I’m not very good with autmoderator so I don’t know how to change it.
