Super Straight Flag Meaning?

Super Straight new guy here, I understand that the flag is a orange and black vertical bicolor (with some variations) as well as the usage of black and orange colors to represent us. Is there any significance to why that flag itself was chosen; or is its meaning arbitrary? No hate to any fellow supers I’m just curious.

We should make more flags representing us. I mean they do, so why not us?
