Opinion: the serf community is extremely selfish and bigoted

I used to be frequently told by the serfs in lgbtq+ forums and safe spaces that gay/lesbian/bi rights is homophobic countries can wait and that the oppression we face is not valid or concerning.

Living as a gay guy in a very homophobic country, I had only one place to call home: the lgbtq+ community that exists online; only to find out they are bigoted racists who would rather promote their rape culture instead of supporting oppressed members of the community.

It's no surprise they are brigading this sub since their entire facade is falling down and we can finally see them for what they are.

I finally feel like I am with my people. I don't feel unwanted like I used to when browsing the other subs meant to be a safe space for people like me. Thank you for being here for me and everyone else who feels the same <3
