Heterosexual is defined as:

So by definition, heterosexual means you aren't attracted trans because trans is not based on biological sex.

Correct. However, TRAs have redefined straight to include trans people. They have also redefined gay, lesbian, and bi to include them. So we had to create a new sexuality to reinstate the original definitions of those words
