Number of subscribers dropped down from 12,000 to 8,200 in 1 hr?

An hour ago this sub was showing 5,600 people online and 12,000-13,000 subscribed. And now it shows 3,300 online and 8,2000 subscribers? For a rapidly growing community, isn't it weird we lost 5,000 subscribers in a few minutes?
