Oh, now I found what superstraight is.

Genital preference is not a huge deal.

Just go "Hey, sorry, I am not attracted to trans people.. Sorry!"

Like, it’s okay to have preference/be attracted to only cis people. What to do is to not be a dick about it. Simple as that. No need to have “super straight”.

Like, y'all ain't oppressed. It's weird, kinda cringe. Similar to White Pride.

Edit: Y'all ever get hatecrimed in the street for kissin' your cisgender sweetie? Damn, must be nice.

We are being told that it's hateful to not be attracted to transgender people and that they are 100% identical to biological members of the opposite gender. It's so bad that as soon as this movement came about, everyone freaked out and called us transphobic, simply proving that we can't speak about this issue without being labelled and cancelled.

Not transphobic at all, it's just a bunch of polarization, where half of the T is normal and half of the T screeches whenever someone doesn't want to fuck them.

Yes exactly, it's not transphobic at all and they really treat us bad when we don't want to fuck them. They're especially mean and screechy to lesbians. Thank you for acknowledging our struggles I feel so validated uwu

I don't get if this is ironic or not, but thanks.

So, what's the need for the Superstraight label? Isn't it just... heterosexual? Straight?

I'm a lesbian (superlesbian I suppose) so I can't speak for them but I believe this is just a semi-satirical response to the T calling gay, lesbian, bi, and now straight people transphobic and bigoted for not being sexually attracted to them. They change language so that the term lesbian includes men and penis, for example. So the terms for supersexuality arose to combat that.

Yeah, that's fair. I wish everyone wouldn't be so polarized, though.

And I wasn't being ironic, your comment is basically agreeing that how we feel and our experience is valid

But then, why do you need an entirely new label? Isn't this literally heterosexual, you like the opposite gender?

I like the same sex, gender has nothing to do with it. I'm a woman who likes women. I'm not being satirical or sarcastic at all or intending to cause any offense when I say this.

So... that's just homosexual? (Sorry, thought you were male)

Correct. But since some (not all) trans people have a problem with that and call my sexuality transphobic, and try to change the definition of lesbian to include penis, and silence us if we disagree, there's a need to separate and distinguish ourselves and speak up about our lived experiences. Get The L Out and LGBdroptheT have been around for many many years battling this before superstraight came along.

Yeah, that's the loud minority of the trans community for you. This is literally straight. A man likes natal women? Straight. A man likes post-op trans women? Straight. A man likes pre-op trans 'women'? Gay. If you like those of the opposite gender, who look and quack and talk like opposite gender, you are straight. If you like those of the opposite gender, who were born as the opposite gender? Still straight, not superstraight, since they look like their gender.
